The domain names that form isleofman.com, (including isle-of-man.com) have been managed by Isleofman Dot Com Ltd since September 2006. They were formerly owned and managed by Duke Domain Ltd and formed part of the Duke Group of Companies. Duke have been involved in marketing and publishing activities on the Isle of Man since 1981.
The tourism section of isleofman.com was established in 2001 with the cooperation of the Isle of Man Government Department of Tourism and Leisure and Lily Publications Ltd who provided much of the original content.
The finance section of isleofman.com was established in 2003 with the cooperation of Isle of Man Finance (formerly known as International Services Division of Treasury), a part of the Isle of Man Government, who provided much of the original content.
The local life section of isleofman.com incorporates many features that previously resided at isle-of-man.com in 2003 alone having been previously developed by others since 1997.
