Success at World Cheese Awards

Cheesemakers at Isle of Man Creameries are celebrating winning a slice of the action at the World Cheese Awards in London.

The competition at Olympia attracts well over 100 cheese specialists, with around 2,000 different cheese varieties being judged in 30 categories.

Isle of Man Oak Smoked Mature Cheddar and the new Ploughman's Pickle Chedder have scooped silver medals for their unique and natural flavour.

Chief Executive at the Creameries Finlay McLeod says it's a great result and they're proud to have beaten some big-name cheese makers in the process (audio file attached):
