Introduction

Manx Bird Atlas is a charity, registered on the Isle of Man, which has been formed to undertake scientific research on the birds of the Island. It is run by a Board of four Directors, employs two full-time and two seasonal contract staff and operates from the home of one of the Directors. Founded in September 1997 the charity commenced a five-year research programme begining in April 1998.
