Getting around by bus and coach
Regular bus services run on many routes throughout the Island, joining up the major towns and also the villages. Once out of town, the busses will stop on request, but in town you must wait by a bus stop for the next available bus.
You can buy tickets on the bus, or you can buy money-saving tickets from any of the Tourist Information centres around the Island. These can be used on any form of public transport, allowing you to use the trains and trams at your leisure. Timetables, route details and pricing information can be found at any of the Island's Tourist Information Centres.
Coach tours around the Island are also available, from Protours (Isle of Man). Choose from taking the round Island tour, the point-to-point tour, an evening tour, a trip to Laxey to see the Mills and Lady Isabella, or choose from one of the many other tours available.
In addition to the local coach travel companies, you can join up with a coach tour from your own town, with an inclusive package to the Island.
