Bremont Watch
Bremont x Jaguar Collaboration Watch

Each year watch aficionados and jewellery lovers the world over flock to the Swiss town of Basel in anticipation of amazing new releases from the world's most prestigious and iconic brands. Brands such as Patek Philippe watches, Rolex watches, Omega and TAG Heuer watches spend weeks teasing their new product and once press day came on the 18th March 2015 the watch and jewellery industry waited with baited breath for the to unveil their new pieces for 2015.

Rolex watches are arguably one of the most iconic watch brands in the world and, therefore, it is no surprise that their new releases we're top of the list for watch collectors, retailers and fans alike. This year the star of the Rolex show was undoubtedly the new look for the Rolex Oyster Perpetual Yacht Master with Rolex unveiling a new black and Everose gold version presented on their new Oysterflex bracelet. This impressive new look for the Yachtmaster has opened the brand up to a whole new market: the matt black Cerachrom bezel and black Oysterflex bracelet give the watch a unique look that's both sporty and sophisticated whilst retaining the exquisite precision and engineering that form the beating heart of this iconic Swiss watch brand.

Ahead of Basel watch and jewellery fair Bremont Watch Company announced their continuing association with iconic British brand, Jaguar, and so making their global debut at Baselworld Watch and Jewellery show 2015 were two new models - the MK1 and the MKII. Both were designed off the back of the success, and demand, sparked from 2014's collaboration with the six 'continuation' lightweight E-Type sports racing cars currently being built by Jaguar.

Taking design notes directly from the Jaguar E-Type, the new MKI and MKII watches feature nods to the speedometer and tachometer - or rev counter - from the iconic dashboards of these classic racing cars. Working together with Jaguar's Director of Design Ian Callum the Bremont creative team managed to encompass the style and class of great British engineering.
