Treasury Minister
The Island's current Treasury Minister is the Hon William Edward Teare MHK, appointed by the Chief Minister in October 2011. The Treasury Minister is the frontman for all the Isle of Man Government's internal and external fiscal policies, responsible for encouraging and supporting a free enterprise open economy and exercising the statutory function to budget for a surplus of income over expenditure by firm control and management of the Government's finances.
