Aircraft Registration
The Isle of Man Aircraft Register opened for business in May 2007 and registered 51 aircraft within the first year.
It is available to high quality corporate and private jets, and turbine-engined helicopters. At present, it is the only dedicated register in Europe, while internationally, its competitors are the US, the Cayman Islands, Bermuda and Aruba.
There are numerous advantages to registering a craft in the Isle of Man, from the high standards of service and regulation, to a professional infrastructure which can provide experienced and cutting-edge support.
Further significant growth is expected in this prestigious niche market and specialists in the Island are able to assist clients in the legal and financial implications of aircraft ownership and ongoing management.
