Glen Truan Golf Links is the Isle of Man's newest golf course and is rapidly growing in popularity with golfers from near and far, all enjoying the warm hospitality of Richard and Helen and the truly challenging pure-links course. Situated on the most Northerly tip of the Isle of Man it has spectacular scenery looking out across the Irish Sea to Scotland. With the Ayres National Nature Reserve to one end, Point of Ayre Lighthouse to the other and the rolling hills of Bride behind it's easy to understand why people don't just enjoy their golf. The purple heather and golden gorse enhance the course and the layout makes for a very interesting 18 holes. You will also need to consider water on the 13th hole with two beautiful fishing lakes. A length of 6651 yards for mens and 5534 for ladies, there are Buggy cars available for hire. Attracting individuals, societies, families and corporate members the course management have designed a rate card that is suitable for all. Another visitor to the course has been Prince William who thoroughly enjoyed his time at Glen Truan and vowed to improve his game before returning!
