Behind the Scenes at the Peggy

Manx National Heritage are giving a free guided tour of the conservation facility of the Peggy, the world’s oldest schooner. 

 

Learn about her maker, Captain Quayle, and hear an update on her conservation story.

 

Tour Details:

  • Tuesdays and Saturdays from 10am
  • Free to attend
  • Booking is essential for all participants
  • Approximate tour time – 1 hour
  • Please be advised that the facility can get cold – please wear layers.
  • Chairs are available should you need to sit at any point during the tour.
  • The building is wheelchair accessible – tour takes place on the ground floor only.
  • Limited parking spaces available in front of the unit

 

Suitable for all ages, the tour is especially engaging for adults and children aged 10 and above. All children (aged 12 and under) attending a tour must be accompanied by an adult.
