Arrasey Plantation

Arrasey Plantation at Patrick covers an area of 99 hectares and has a varied age structure of trees, being planted between the years 1935 and 1967. The main species of trees are Sitka Spruce, Lodgepole Pine and Japanese Larch. Restocking occurred in 1984 and 1990. 10.9 hectares of younger, unthrifty Lodgepole Pine crops were felled in 1995 and restocked with Sitka Spruce and Corsican Pine. Access within the plantation has improved with recent roading.
