Ballig Plantation

Ballig Plantation on the TT course is between Ballacraine and Laurel Bank. It consists of 4 hectares and was planted in 1960 with mainly Sitka Spruce and Japanese Larch. The trees here have good growth rates but access for the foresters from the public road is difficult and so it is primarily of amenity value.
