Montpelier Plantation

Montpelier is an area of 45 hectares on the Eastern flanks of the Michael Hills.

It was established in 1995-1996 as a new semi-natural broadleaf woodland.

The main species here include Oak, Birch, Beech, Sycamore, Rowan, Alder and 5% Scots Pine.
