The Douglas

10 miles long, formed by the confluence of The Dhu (" The Dark River "), which rises on the western slopes of Greeba, and The Glas (" The Gray River"), which rises in the moorlands north of Garraghan. these two streams unite about one mile west of Douglas and form the river Douglas, which discharges itself into Douglas Bay.
