Dave Molyneux

Dave (Moly) Molyneux (born in Douglas, Isle of Man) is a Sidecar TT racer with 13 Isle of Man TT wins and he has had more TT wins than any other sidecar TT racer.

In the 2005 TT he set the fastest sidecare racetime of the Snaefell mountain course of 59 minutes and 6.39 seconds with an average race speed of 114.91 mph for 3 laps.

During a practice session in 2006, Dave and his sidecar partner Craig Hallam crashed at 145mph. The racing sidecar outfit was destroyed in the resulting fire and Dave Molyneux was unable to compete in the 2006 TT races due to injury. Dave returned to the TT in 2007 on a Honda powered DMR both with passenger Rick Long. He won both 2007 Sidecar TT Race "A" and Race "B". This now makes him the equal 3rd most successful IOM TT rider of all time with John McGuinness, behind Joey Dunlop and Mike Hailwood, and one of the greatest living TT legends.

He is also a builder of road racing sidecars under the name DMR, Dave Molyneux Racing, and has supplied sidecars to many other TT winners including 10 time TT winner Rob Fisher and 2006 double winner Nick Crowe.
