Air link - Ronaldsway international airport by David Lloyd-Jones

The Island's airport, Ronaldsway, is located near Castletown, 9 miles to the south of Douglas. In 2007, Ronaldsway handled in excess of 750,000 passengers. A phased programme of improvements to facilities is underway and the airport is equipped to international standards of navigational/electronic aids and passenger facilities. A runway extension, which will enable the airport to handle larger aircraft, is now under construction.

The main operator of scheduled passenger and freight services are Flybe and Manx2.com. Other scheduled passenger and freight services are flown by Aer Arann, Blue Islands, Loganair and VLM.
