What do the Commonwealth Games mean to you?
This is undoubtedly the highest accolade I could achieve, not only boxing for the Isle of Man at such an elite tournament but trying to medal at this event. Having boxed at junior Commonwealth level previously I now know the hard work and dedication that is needed, not only to qualify but to compete at international level. Nothing would make me more proud than to walk out in front of the world's media to box for a medal wearing the flag of the Isle of Man. In 2013 I've boxed the reigning national ABA champion and the Irish 2012 light middleweight Olympic representative. I gave both boxers a hard and close fight and with almost a year's preparation for Glasgow I WILL be ready.
