Freemen title goes to Bee Gees - Mandate report

Barry and Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees were made freemen of the Borough of Douglas in a ceremony at Douglas Town Hall, at lunchtime today.

The Manx born brothers received the honour in recognition of their achievements as recording artists, and everything they have done for the town and the Isle of Man.

Robin's twin Maurice, who died in 2003, has been given the award posthumously.
