Air link with Bristol to return

The air link between the Isle of Man and Bristol is to return next year - courtesy of FlyBe.

The airline's announced today (Monday) it will offer a thrice-weekly service from the end of March next year, on a Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday.

It will be operated by a 78-seat Bombardier Q-400 aircraft, with a journey time of just under an hour and its launch ties in with the start of FlyBe's summer schedule for 2010.

Airport Director Anne Reynolds says she's delighted to see the air link with Bristol restored, something they've been seeking for the past two years.
