Ballasalla practice shines at UK awards

Staff at a Manx dental surgery have been recognised in a national competition in the United Kingdom.
Ballasalla-based Abbey Dental was shortlisted as a finalist at the Private Dentistry Awards, and senior nurse Amanda Wood received the accolade of Outstanding Individual of the Year.
Miss Wood beat off tough competition from across the British Isles and picked up the award at the ceremony held at the Intercontinental Hotel in London's Park Lane.
Practice dentist Dr Mark Hepworth says he is very proud the outstanding level of professionalism demonstrated by Ms Wood has been recognised nationally.
