People are being warned not to purchase stolen power tools after a theft in the west of the Island.

Police are investigating after a number of high value power and hand tools were taken from a property there.

Officers haven’t specified where but they also say 60 litres of red diesel was stolen.

It happened between January 20th and January 26th.

Those responsible took £2,800 worth of goods including two chainsaws, a strimmer, drills and a set of ratchet spanners.

Anyone who has any information should contact Peel Police Station.
