A slate sign that was situated within the hedgerow adjacent to the roadside, was smashed. The damage occurred between 22.30 hours on Saturday night and 11.00 hours on Sunday morning. Police are appealing for anyone with any information to contact Ramsey Police Station. ENDS ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Police are seeking witnesses to two separate incidents of criminal damage which occurred on Belmont Terrace in Douglas overnight on Saturday 3rd September 2011. Two cars were targeted and both received severe damage to paintwork and windows using a sharp instrument. Anybody who may have witnessed anything unusual or who has information to assist police is urged to contact Constable 255 Carberry at Lord Street as a matter of urgency. ENDS ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A large twelve man tent has been damaged whilst pitched at the point of Ayre. The damage is believed to have been caused by a quad that was seen in the area. Police would like to speak with the driver of a white Mercedes Vito van that was also in the area at the time of the offence. The damage occurred between 12.00 hours and 18.00 hours on Sunday the 4th of September 2011. Police are appealing for anyone with any information to contact Ramsey Police Station. ENDS ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- At approximately 00.55 hours of Saturday the 3rd September 2011 a serious Road Traffic accident occurred involving a dark green coloured Ford Scorpio motor vehicle on the TT Course at the junction with the Creg-ny-Baa Back Road. The two occupants of the vehicle a male and female suffered serious injuries and are being treated at Nobles Hospital. The circumstances leading up to the accident are not known and Police are appealing for any witnesses that may have been travelling in the area at that time. The vehicle is known to have been travelling from the Douglas area against the TT course towards the Creg-ny-Baa public house immediately prior to the accident. Anyone with any information that they think may be linked are asked to contact Police Headquarters on 63121. ENDS
