Fire crews free casualty from car

A man is being treated in hospital for facial injuries after a road accident in St John's.

Fire crews from Peel and Douglas were called to the incident on Archallagan Road near The Hope crossroads at around 9pm Saturday (7 October).

Officers used cutting gear under arc lights to free the man from his vehicle.

The casualty's also thought to have suffered neck and back injuries and was taken to Noble's hospital by paramedics.
