New bus deal on the table

A new pay deal for bus drivers is on the table – but this time from the union.

Less than a week after drivers voted overwhelmingly against an agreement proposing longer working hours, reduced sick pay and an unpaid lunch break, Unite has offered a revised deal.

Regional industrial organiser Eric Holmes hopes government officials will consider it.
