The league’s bottom of the table clash between Union Mills and Ramsey saw the home side win comfortably despite the half-time score line only reading 1 – 0 through a Chris Kelly goal just before the break. Ramsey were slow out the changing rooms in the second half and were caught cold twice in the early phases, with Michael Nash and Steve Quine making the most of Ramsey’s defensive confusion.

Ramsey would begin to find some momentum and thought they'd found a life-line through Stevie Cleiter’s left foot when the game was brought back to a goal’s difference, but Union Mills would go on to kill the game off in the 67th minute through Matthew Caine and add another late goal to finish the game 5 – 2.

In the south of the island Castletown’s goal difference took a battering after losing 8 – 0 to visitors St Mary’s who have consolidated their second spot in the table with nine points and now sit only three points behind Laxey with a game in hand.

St George’s narrowly beat Old Boys 1 – 0 away from home, but the three points prove vital as they try to close the gap that Laxey have created with their impressive start. Today’s three points puts Geordies on seven points and third in the table
Corinthians managed to halt Laxey’s winning start, in a 1 – 1 draw putting them into six and sneaking past Rushen whose game was postponed. .

Elsewhere Peel shared a point with Gymns in a 1 – 1 draw, with Matty Woods scoring for the home side and Simon Dixon scoring for the visitors. For Gymns it can be viewed as a well-earned point which gives them a breathing gap between themselves and eleventh placed Ramsey. While for Peel it allows them to jump above St Johns, who had a free week, into fifth on seven points and go two points ahead of Rushen whose game against Marown was postponed.
