BBC to broadcast show about Manx general election

A SPECIAL half-hour edition of the BBC North West Politics Show about the Isle of Man's general election will be broadcast next week.

 

Presenters Annabel Tiffin, Arif Ansari and Gill Dummigan will examine issues ranging from the recent controversial VAT agreement to the efforts to increase the number of affordable homes.

 

The programme, which will air on BBC One on Sunday, September 11 at 10.25pm, will also feature an interview with Chief Minister Tony Brown - who has decided to retire from politics - and a candidates' debate.

 

Manx residents will go to the polls on September 29.
