by isleofman.com 2nd September 2011

The Isle of Man Film Festival continues this evening (Friday) as everyone's favourite extraterrestrial comes to the Nunnery.

Family favourite E.T. is the first outdoor movie screening at this year's 'Under the Stars', the outdoor cinema event.

A 40-foot screen is in place in the grounds and the audience is invited to arrive early and bring a picnic.

The annual event is run by the Isle of Man Arts Council, and arts development manager Emma Callin says it's growing in popularity (listen to audio file below):

Gates open at 7pm with the film starting at 8pm.
