Launch of Surestrike bowling leagues

RAMSEY'S Sure Strike Bowling & Leisure Centre, in association with 3FM, has announced the launch of its bowling leagues. There are a variety of leagues for all ages and abilities.

 

The weekly schedule includes:-

 

Monday

Pensioners League – ages 65 and over

Pepsi Young Bowlers Club Junior League – ages 6-16

Cable & Wireless Business League – teams of employees from local companies

Tuesday

Pepsi Young Bowlers Club Junior League – ages 6-16

Tower Insurance Premier League – experienced bowlers

Thursday

Beginners League – ages 18 and over

Sunday

Sure Strike Staff League – staff only

 

Also beginning in September is the ‘Sure Wednesday 9 Pin Tap’. On any Sure Wednesday, Sure customers will automatically get a strike when they score a 9.

 

At the end of the evening the top scorer will be entered into a monthly draw for the chance to win a Sure voucher worth £100.. This is in addition to the half price bowling for Sure customers on a Wednesday.

 

Managing director, Alan Price, said, “Whether you have never bowled before or you bowl every week, we would love to see you here. Anyone who wants to improve their skills and play against others should come along!”

 

Kate Hegarty from Sure, sponsor of Sure Strike, said, “We are delighted to be able to support such a fantastic programme which really involves everyone in the community.”

 

Leagues are £4.00 per game with half price for Juniors and there are still places available.  Coaching is also available at £10 for half hour session and can be booked by phone.  To register or for more information, call 812444 or visit www.surestrike.im for details.
