Manx cricketers progress to finals

The Isle of Man's under 19 cricket team are through to the finals of the under 19 cricket championships.

The Manx bowlers made short work of Spain this morning, despatching them for 79.

Jack Rowlands opening the batting put in 39 to help the Isle of Man to 83 for four.

The win put the Isle of Man at the top of the group, tied with Italy.

The Manx onto the final due to a higher net run rate, 3.25 to 1.85.

Tomorrow they play Denmark at King Williams College.
