Agricultural review a 'waste of time'

A planned review of the Island's agricultural system by the government has been branded a waste of time by the president of the Manx National Farmers' Union.

Ray Craine says the MNFU has been calling for a review of the Countryside Care Scheme, which has been in place for two years, but adds what farmers need more than anything else is stability.

He feels aspects of the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture's plan are unnecessary:
