Crossroads calling all creative types

by isleofman.com 24th June 2011

ARE you a crazy film-maker or a budding singer just waiting to be discovered? Do you have a flair for making videos, or a voice you want to share with the world?

Crossroads Caring for Carers Isle of Man are calling on local people to use their creative skills to make a YouTube video and raise funds for the charity.

Friends and Heroes Productions Ltd is giving Crossroads the opportunity to raise funds for the charity in a International Song Competition. The essence of the competition is to create a cover version of the animated adventure series Friends and Heroes title song "What about Love?" in video format.

What about Love? tells the story of a journey of discovery where Portia, the lead character in the Friends and Heroes TV series, learns that there is a higher love, far greater than she could ever have imagined. The song describes her moment of revelation when she embraces the love that can change the world and challenges us to do the same.

Crossroads wants you to take the song and create your own stunning version of it. Can't sing? Create a movie, animation or real-life. People, animals or nature…make the original song special with your own visual interpretation of the message.
