Symphony Orchestra to hold Winter Ball

THE Isle of Man Symphony Orchestra will be holding A Winter Ball at the Villa Marina, Douglas, later this month.

 

The event, on Saturday, January 15, is in association with the Academy of Dance and the Madigan School of Dance.

 

The conductor will be Maurice Powell and the compere Charles Guard and it will feature music by Strauss and other Viennese composers.

 

There are different kinds of tickets available. A silver ticket, £15, gives admission to the concert (£12.50 concessions) while a gold ticket, £30, gives admission to the concert plus access to a pre-concert reception at the Sefton Hotel.
