Kermode and Gawne to speak at Hango Hill

The 2011 Illiam Dhone ceremony takes place at Hango Hill, Castletown on Sunday.

The event is held on January 2 every year to commemorate a man nationalists regard as a martyr for his role in establishing Manx independence.

The orations in Manx Gaelic and English will be given Mec Vannin chairman Mark Kermode and Infrastructure Minister Phil Gawne respectively.

Anyone can attend the open air ceremony.
