Bus times for party goers

by isleofman.com 31st December 2010

Special 'Night Owl' buses are being laid on for New Year's Eve revellers.

The late night services will run to and from Douglas until the early hours, to allow revellers to get home safely, for a modest outlay.

For those who have been partying in Douglas, buses will depart for the north, south and west of the Island at quarter past midnight. They will arrive in Ramsey at 1.06am, Port St Mary at 1.10am and Peel just before 12.45am.

For those heading in the opposite direction, the last bus will leave Ramsey at 12.05am and Port St Mary at the perhaps slightly disappointing time of just before midnight!

Revellers in Peel wanting to return to the capital have until 12.43am to catch the last bus home.

The 'Night Owl' service will run with normal fares, so a single from Douglas to Peel would be ?4.60.
