by isleofman.com 23rd December 2009

Police are reminding dog owners to keep their pets under control, after an attack on a sheep at Conrhenny.

At about 3.30pm on Tuesday a sheep was found dead in a field next to the plantation near the Creg-ny-Baa back road.

The animal had injuries to its neck and hind quarters, and police think they were inflicted earlier the same day.

Anybody with information about the attack is asked to ring Onchan Police Station on 675190 or Police Headquarters on 631212.
