Police say four teenagers have been arrested after an attack near the Curraghs Wildlife Park earlier this month.
Officers are appealing for more witnesses to come forward after the assault in the early hours of Sunday, December 6.
A man was badly beaten as he walked home, and police have now arrested four youths aged between 16 and 17 years from the Douglas and Onchan area.
Sergeant Mark Newey of the Northern Neighbourhood Policing Team says police are still keen to hear from anybody who was in the area at the time.
Anybody with information which might help the investigation is asked to ring Police Headquarters on 631212, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
