Farmhill road safety pledge from Transport Minister

The Transport Minister has vowed to continue monitoring safety concerns in Farmhill.

In Tynwald this week, South Douglas MHK Bill Malarkey highlighted a lack of safety measures on the main route through Farmhill – Stevenson Way.

Colleague David Cretney and numerous residents have long expressed their worries over the issue.

David Anderson says extra road markings will be introduced before Christmas but admits speed limits are difficult to enforce.
