Halsall 4th in Doha Final

Manx swimmer Grant Halsall narrowly missed out on the bronze medal in the 200m Backstroke Final at the World Schools' Games in Qatar.

He finished fourth in a time of 2 minutes 5.13 seconds, 0.12 seconds behind the Italian swimmer in third.

The World Games takes place every three years and is the biggest international sporting event for schools.

Halsall is being taught at Plymouth College after being awarded a Gubay “Chase your Dream” scholarship.
