Four candidates will contest the vacant seat on the board of Peel commissioners next week.
Delicatessen proprietor Maralyn Bowie; company managing director Ian Davison; business analyst Raymond Harmer and bookkeeper Suzette Marshall will vie for the seat, available following the resignation of Penny Hardman.
The by-election takes place on Thursday, December 3.
The polling station at the Corrin Hall will be open for 12 hours from 8am.
