Friends Provident Feel Blue - and Yellow - For Hospice

by isleofman.com 18th August 2009

Staff at Friends Provident International recently put the 'fun' into fundraising when they arranged a charity day in aid of the Isle of Man Hospice.

Amongst the attractions laid on by the  Castletown-based company was a raffle and a well-stocked cake stall, which proved exceedingly popular!

Staff were also encouraged to dress up in yellow and blue - the official Hospice colours - on the day.

The fun theme seemed to work a treat, with staff raising ?535.74 which the Company then agreed to double.

A further bonus came in the form of a ?25 donation from one of FPI’s own clients, in recognition of help and advice he’d received from FPI Customer Services Geraldine Quinney.

As a result, FPI raised a total of ?1096.48 which was presented to the Hospice’s PR and Marketing Manager Mary Doyle by FPI General Manager, Jonathan Hall (pictured).

“The Hospice is extremely grateful to local companies and staff that get together and raise valuable funds for us. I would like to thank Friends Provident International for their generous donation and support,” said Mary.
