The band of volunteers who support prisoners and their families in the Island have been praised by the Home Affairs Minister.
Adrian Earnshaw was reflecting on 12 months since the Island’s new ?41.7 million prison at Jurby became operational.
It’s a year since the move from the old jail in Victoria Road in Douglas to the new purpose built facility in the north.
Mr Earnshaw says many people are involved on a regular basis.
