Langness Evidence Available to View

The evidence submitted for the Langness Footpaths Public Inquiry is now available to be viewed at venues round the Island.

 

The Inquiry, to be conducted by Mr Roy Hickey, gets underway at the Mount Murray Hotel and Country Club on Monday, 20th July starting at 9.30am, with its remit to investigate the status of footpaths on the Langness peninsula.

 

The Department of Transport arranged the Inquiry following a motion approved by Tynwald in December last year.

 

The evidence submitted, both in favour and against the existence of public foot paths on the Langness Peninsular, and guidance notes governing the Public Inquiry can be viewed at the following locations:

 

• Highways Division, Sea Terminal, Douglas – 9.00am-5.00pm Monday to Friday


• Malew Commissioners Office, Main Road, Ballasalla – 9.00am-4.30pm Monday to Friday

 

• Castletown Library, Civic Centre, 1 Farrants Way, Castletown – Monday 2.00pm-6.00pm; Tuesday 10.00am-12.00pm; Wednesday 1.00pm-5.00pm; Thursday 4.30pm-7.00pm; Friday 10.00am-12.00pm; Saturday 9.30am-12.30pm
