Frayed tempers in Tynwald yesterday led to accusations the Council of Ministers is growing arrogant and dismissive of backbenchers.
During questions, Rushen MHK Quintin Gill accused Treasury Minister Allan Bell of arrogance after receiving a short and curt reply.
And, after the sitting, he claimed the trait was becoming increasingly common among members of CoMin.
Mr Gill said the lack of courtesy shown was damaging Manx politics.
But Agriculture Minister Phil Gawne denies the Council of Ministers is becoming arrogant or high-handed towards members.
He accepts some ministers can seem a little curt from time to time, but insists there is no 'them and us' attitude in the Manx parliament.
