Vintage vehicles head for Jurby

by isleofman.com 16th July 2007
The centenary of motor bus services on the Island will be celebrated this weekend.

It’s hoped a variety of vintage and classic buses, cars, trucks, bikes and tractors will be on display at the Jurby Parade ground, next to the Jurby Hotel on Sunday between ten o’clock and four pm.

Tourism and Leisure Minister, Adrian Earnshaw, will officially open proceedings at 12 noon by driving a vintage bus onto the show ground.
