Electricity production halted

by isleofman.com 13th July 2007
A badly damaged turbine is preventing the energy from waste plant on Richmond Hill, Braddan from producing electricity.

The damage was discovered in March.

It's believed it was caused by the turbine not being fitted properly and a claim is being made against the builders.

The repaired turbine is being re-installed and it's hoped electricity will be flowing again before the end of the month.
