Teachers' pensions set for radical overhaul?

There could be a radical overhaul of teachers’ pensions in the Island within the next two years.

Island teachers are to be asked to have their say on two options which could mean significant change from 2015.

The first of four briefings takes place this evening.

As teachers' unions in the UK threaten a national one-day strike in England in a row over pay, pensions and workloads, Andrew Shipley - the secretary of the Association of Teachers and Lecturers - says it’s vital as many local staff as possible take time to find out about changes:
