Launched 15 years ago, the Steam Packet's Ben-my-Chree is celebrating a decade and a half of service.

Built in the Netherlands at a cost of ?25million, the ship has ferried 3.9million passengers across the Irish Sea.

The Steam Packet says in the last three years she has chalked up a reliability record of almost 98 per cent.

But CEO Mark Woodward says they are already in discussions about her replacement and the long-term size of the fleet.
