Treasury Minister pleased over Cameron's tax haven comments

After years of lobbying, they were the words the Manx government wanted to hear – UK Prime Minister David Cameron saying the Crown Dependencies are not tax havens.

He made his comments in the House of Commons this week as he answered a question on tax cooperation from the Isle of Man and other jurisdictions.

Treasury Minister Eddie Teare says the government’s work lobbying and improving tax transparency has finally paid off.

So was he happy to hear the statement from the PM?
