Gymns back on top

All the top teams in action in JCK Division Two continued their promotion push on Saturday.

In a programme of matches cut in half by the weather, Gymns moved back to the top with a 6-0 success over Onchan.

Mike Booth (two), Nick Bowden, Jay Corrin, Luke Fisher and Daniel Kewley grabbed the goals for the Tromode side.

Marown are third after a 6-0 victory at Douglas and District, courtesy of goals from Stuart Morris (three), Niall Quayle (two) and Joey Rothwell.

Colby’s resurgence continued with a 4-0 home triumph over Braddan.

The southerners secured a fourth straight win with all the goals in the second period.

Craig Gelling (two), Ashley Blake and Jamie Heeney found the net.
