Southern 100 Racing, organisers of the Metzeler Post TT Road Races have decided to revise the race programme for the 2014 Races, which are to be held on Saturday 7th June.
There will still be three races as previously although the ‘Ultra-Lightweight Classes’ have been dropped due to the decreasing number of entries year on year.
The 125cc/400cc event will be replaced with an Open Race for solo machines up to 1100cc.
The revised Race Programme will now be:
Race 1 600cc Supersport
Race 2 650cc/250cc SuperTwin / Lightweight
Race 3 1100cc Superbike
However, the Ultra-Lightweight, 125cc & 400cc classes will be retained at the Steam Packet Southern 100 International Road Races, where competitors will as in previous years enjoy two races around the 4.25-mile Billown Course between 7th & 10th July.
