The reigning champions showed no mercy to their cup final opponents on Saturday.

Bacchas A’s perfect season continued with a 9-3 thrashing of Vikings A in PWC Mixed Premier Division, who they will meet again in a bid to secure a league and cup double.

The man of the moment was again Andy Whiting as he hit five and was joined on the scoresheet by Kim Carney, Jamie Brown, Sosie Cox and Andy Vernon-Browne.

The prolific Connor Byrne hit a hat-trick for Vikings A but still ended up on the losing side.

Valkyrs A have sealed the runners-up spot and returned to winning ways with a 6-1 victory over Celts, whose consolation was scored by Sarah Wignall.

The battle to beat the drop remains on a knife edge after both Vikings B and Valkyrs B were beaten.

Thomas Tsitos, Jonny Verall, Toby Wiltshire and Vicky Garner got the goals as Ramsey A ended the impressive run of Valkyrs B with a 4-2 success.

They replied through Alice Henderson and Luis Nova Smith.

And it was a one-sided contest as Bacchas B ran out 6-1 winners over Vikings B.

Tom Wilson (two), Tom Evans, Richard Le Page, Alice Bowen and Andy Kneale netted with Steve Underwood notching the Vikings’ consolation.
